So, I had raised [[My Toyota 4Runner|the truck]] 4 inches with a kit from [[Trailmaster]]. One problem that immediately arised was that the front skidplate from [[Toyota]] became useless. In a way, it did not make very much sense from the beginning. A skid plate made in fiberglass? What good is that? Off-Road? Anyway, now it did not even fit any more. It lacked 4 inches of lift.


Finally, I found the piece I was looking for. In the parts catalogue from [[Downey Industries]], they listed a skid plate for the 4Runner with a 4 inch lift. So I immediately ordered it.


When I received the plate, I was very happy. Perfect fit. High quality. And I found out that it was actually produced by:
