Welcome to the new Schaffter site.
The old site was built by carefully editing HTML in a text editor. The new site is easier to maintain. At least the contents is easier to maintain. On the other hand, the site software requires some maintenance.
The old Schaffter site still exists, even though it's not maintained any more. You may read about the history of this site. It has changed quite drastically over time.
Navigation
If you feel that you've lost your way on this site, and you want to get back to the 'start page', follow the 'Main Page' link in the navigation menu on the left. It will take you back to this page. And of course, don't hesitate to use the search facility below the navigation menu.
Language
This site is currently all English. I'm aware of the wish from some of my visitors to maintain a French version of this site, or alternatively a whole site in French. But, since I have a hard time to maintain the contents of one site, maintaining two sites is currently not possible.
