My friends forced me to create this site.
Now they also want to have their links here.
There's really no end to it...
No, honestly,
this page is created by myself and on my own initiative.
Otherwise, I would never find my way back to their sites again.
BTW,
that's valid for all my pages.
Göran Israelsson
One of my friends is named
Göran Israelsson.
He was the one pushing me hardest to create my own Web site.
He is actually (partially) responsible for the existence of such a boring place on
The Web...
Göran is a keen motorcyclist and a member of the Swedish motorcycle club
Rapido.
It was a long time ago that I learnt to know
Peter Hernfalk.
Peter and his wife Maria have created their own site on the Web.
And it's a good looking site as well.
When I was working as a consultant for Linné Data in
Sweden,
I got to know
Mats Fallström
at one of our client sites.
Linné Data later changed their name to
Mandator AB.
Anyway,
that was at
Statens Järnvägar,
the Swedish Railroad company.
Later on, I stumbled over him at the IBM Technical Interchange -96 in
Nashville,
'The Music City' in the hart of
Tennessee.
We were both very surpriced.
And yes, we also went to
Lynchburg
to visit the
Jack Daniels
distillery.
In the summer of 1996,
I went to the Swedish island named
Gotland.
There I participated in the annual off-road meeting named
'Canin Trophy'.
It's organized by
Gotlands Terräng Gäng
(The terrain gang of Gotland).
One of the organizers,
named
Jörgen Gustavsson
aka 'JeepGusten'
immediately became one of my Web friends.
Actually, I met a lot of new friends there.
Among them was
Stefan Ågren,
another keen off-roader.
Once upon a time,
I was a keen climber.
As such,
I got a lot of new friends.
One very good climbing friend was Henrik Martin,
aka Henkan.
Since then, he has moved from Stockholm to the San Fransisco Bay area.
There he has created a way
cool homepage.
Maggan & Robban are also two 'old' and very good climbing friends of mine.
They have finally opened
their own page
on the Web.
Their family situation (read: kids) has made it difficult to climb right now,
but they both intend to re-start.
You have just made the
:th visit to this page.
